Paranormal Crime Investigations: Brotherhood of the Crescent Snake Game Tips & Hints:
- There are 3 chapters in the game, with an introduction and optional tutorial at the start.
- Watch for cursor changes. A magnifying glass when you can look more closely at something; a hand when you can interact with something; a speech bubble when you can talk to someone; a question mark if you can learn more about something.
- When an inventory item glows, move it to your PCI Field Kit (lower right of screen) to analyse it. When the Field Kit glows, there are updated case files in your Digital Case Log and Database.
- Switch between the Map and the Log by clicking on the bottom right of the PCI Kit monitor.
- Hidden object scenes are marked with sparkles. Interactive areas are marked with a glint.
Some items in a hidden object scene list need an extra step to find. - Random clicking in a hidden object scene causes a brief fog.
- Some items can be combined - you will be given the combination when you've collect all the pieces.
- Actions you take in one area trigger hidden object scenes in another - the game is not linear.
- Hints are available for hidden object scenes and the regular gameplay. Hints refill in 30 seconds.
- You can skip puzzles or mini-games after a short wait, and replay those that you've unlocked - click Extras.
