Timeless: The Forgotten Town Game Tips & Hints:
- This game has 5 chapters and 2 modes of gameplay - Casual and Expert. You are asked to choose a mode at the start when you enter a player name. You can choose to play in full screen or window size.
- There are hidden object scenes and story scenes to complete, and mini-games and puzzles to solve. Click the Skip button to skip a game or puzzle.
- If you click randomly in a hidden object scene you lose control of the cursor for a while as a penalty.
- In Casual mode story scenes have sparkles on screen areas where you should click to trigger a hidden object scene. The Hint and Skip buttons recharge faster and the penalty for randomly-clicking lasts for a shorter time.
- The Hint button is an hourglass. Hints show you where items are in a hidden object scene, and where to go in story scenes.
- In Expert mode the story scene sparkles are not so helpful and the Hint and Skip buttons recharge more slowly. The ramdom-click penalty lasts for a longer time.
- In hidden object scenes items you need to find are liseted along the bottom of the screen.
- In some scenes you look for Inventory Item objects that match silhouette shapes displayed along the bottom of the screen. You use these objects to complete tasks.
- When the Inventory area is full, use the scroll buttons to move left or right to see all the inventory items you've gained.
- The Diary shows you the clues and information you've collected as you progress through the game.
