People will compare Escape from Paradise to games like Virtual Villagers game series and Tropix. Escape from Paradise has elements of both of those games. Like Virtual Villagers, castaways are marooned on a tropical island and the goal is to explore the island and build skills to survive. But like Tropix you complete challenges and go from one challenge to another while pursuing your goal. Some of the mini-games remind me of Bejeweled, Diner Dash and Sudoku. This will keep you busy for hours! You need to make sure they eat and drink, so don't get to caught up in the mini games or they might leave. As you continue the adventure you will unlock lot's of things, items, next part of the adventure and more levels for the mini games. Escape From Paradise Game Tips & Hints:
- To gain skills faster, play the mini-games more than once and apply the skill points you earn to castaways who need them. Focus on the mini-games that earn most skill points
- Build more huts to quickly expand your village. The more people you attract the more workers there are.
- Try and build at least one skill per castaway. Skilled castaways are worth more
- To make it easier to pick out the castaways with skills you need at various points in the game, give each skill group the same shirt color. For instance give all carpenters a red shirt.
- When you don't need a castaway for a task, let them rest. That way you keep them healthy
