The Grimm's Hatchery tale begins when your step father has died and left the kingdom to your evil step brother, Lord Boras. Half of the Grimm's Hatchery game is about raising pets. The other half of the Grimm's Hatchery game is about exploring the Kingdom of Candar and solving quests in the villages. You will need to talk to villagers and search each area to find goodies, hints, and keys that you can unlock to explore new areas in the game.

Visit the village in Grimm's Hatchery, you can buy items for your pets. You'll need grain to feed them, medicine to heal them, and a weapon to defend them against monsters.

The Grimm's Hatchery Pet Lab is a great place for you to experiment with your eggs. You can zap two eggs and hopefully create a new species of pet! If you merge two eggs, a new egg is created. You'll have to hatch the egg before you can get the pet...

The Grimm's Hatchery hatching kettle is very useful. You can throw your eggs into the kettle and hopefully hatch new pets. Alternatively, you can sell your eggs in town to get gold. You may not want to sell some eggs because they will hatch pets that you cannot buy in the village.
