F.A.C.E.S. Game Tips & Hints:
- This game has 6 chapters.
- When you start a new game you can choose Casual or Advanced Mode. In Casual Mode, places to explore will shine or glint, the hint and puzzle recharges are fast and there is a tutorial. In Advanced Mode there is no indication of places to explore, hint and puzzle recharges are slower and there is no tutorial.
- When you move the cursor around a scene, it changes shape: Eyeball - you can look closer at something; Hand - you can pick an item up.
- If you click randomly in a Hidden Object Scene, you will lose control of your cursor for a few seconds.
- Hidden Object scenes are triggered by actions in other scenes and the game is not linear. You may have to revisit scenes to complete them.
- The Inventory Bar disappears when not being used. Move the cursor to the center bottom of the screen to redisplay the Bar. Use the lever on the top left of the Bar to display the Bar permanently.
- Use the arrows to scroll through your inventory items.
- To see your current tasks, move the cursor over the Files in the bottom left of the screen, without clicking.
- Click on the Files to see your Journal.
- Hint shows you the location of objects in a hidden object scene, and gives help in a story scene.
- When a pop-up box is displayed, click outside the box to close it.
- To leave the game, click Menu and then click Exit on the Main Menu.
